Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing in at 2 pounds 8 oz. She remained in ICU for one month. Parents were informed that her heart needed surgery on Christmas Day. Prayers were answered when her parents visited the hospital on Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had been shut. Ashley was not required to undergo any surgeries. She weighed 4 1/2 pounds. Ashley was sent home following two stays in hospital. Since then, she's healthy! Her father's heritage is English and German. Her mother is Irish. She made her acting debut with a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley was initially approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she was eight years old. Ashley has been steadily working with The Ford Modeling Agency throughout her career. She aspired to be an actress at the young age of just 10. Ashley was in the commercials for 35 years before moving on to theater roles. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley focused her entire attention to acting. This left little time for modeling and dancing, anymore. Ashley is best known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley made a brief cameo performance in the music video "True Love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears was photographed during a Vogue Magazine shoot. She's part of NLT "That Girl" which is the music video.
